What CPC is — and is not

CPC is an independent project-matching service. We review project briefs submitted by homeowners and, where we consider it suitable, connect the homeowner with an independent local professional on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

• CPC is not a builder, contractor, tradesperson or designer, and does not perform, manage or supervise any work.
• CPC does not employ the professionals we may introduce, and does not vet, endorse, recommend or guarantee any professional or their work.
• Submitting a brief does not guarantee that a match or introduction will be made, or that any professional will respond within a particular timeframe — or at all.
• Any quote, agreement or contract for work is made directly between you and the professional. CPC is not a party to that agreement.

Free submissions, no obligation

Submitting a project brief is free for homeowners and creates no obligation on either side. You are under no obligation to engage any professional we may introduce, and we are under no obligation to make an introduction.

Your responsibility to check

Before engaging any professional, you should carry out your own due diligence. This includes verifying licences and registrations (for example, with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission), checking insurance, obtaining written quotes and contracts, and seeking independent advice where appropriate. Decisions about who to engage, and on what terms, are entirely yours.

Your submissions

You confirm that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You permit us to use and share your submission as described in our Privacy Policy for the purpose of providing the matching service.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CPC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, any introduction made (or not made), or any act, omission, work or conduct of any independent professional. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
